The Cobra 6 ESC features Castle’s latest 32-bit architecture designed to improve throttle precision, motor control, and overall driving consistency in high-power RC vehicles.
Compared to previous Castle ESC generations, the Cobra 6 introduces an upgraded logging system with twice the sample rate, longer recording duration, and expanded telemetry channels including motor timing and onboard accelerometer data.
This allows drivers to better analyze traction, gearing, battery performance, and motor efficiency.
The ESC supports SmartSense™ technology when paired with compatible Castle 4-pole sensored motors. SmartSense combines smooth sensored startup performance with efficient high-speed sensorless operation for improved drivability and throttle feel.
The integrated BEC is adjustable from 5.5 V to 8.0 V in 0.1 V increments with 8 A peak output capability, making it suitable for modern high-voltage servos and demanding steering systems.
Built-in USB-C connectivity and Castle Link compatibility allow complete ESC tuning, firmware updates, and data log analysis through Castle’s software platform.
The Cobra 6 is designed for 1/7 and 1/6 scale vehicles weighing up to 25 lbs and supports 2S–8S LiPo operation.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
The Cobra 6 is not designed for drag racing or high speed applications. It has built-in safety features that protect against aggressive setups and may limit power. For drag racing and speed runs we recommend using the Cobra 5 ACE and Cobra 5 ACE HV.
Applying voltages higher than 33.6V will cause irreparable damage to the ESC. Do not run HV cells exceeding 4.2V per cell when operating at the maximum 8S cell count.
Although the Cobra 6 is waterproof, it is not intended for complete submersion in liquid. The cooling fan is not waterproof and must be removed prior to driving in wet conditions.
