I've tried several high-torque servos over the years, but the Perfect Pass 80kg is the first one that completely transformed my Traxxas XRT Ultimate.
The real test for any servo on the XRT isn't the stock tires, it's the Sledgehammers and especially the Paddle tires in sand. The stock servo simply couldn't keep up under load, but the Perfect Pass had no problem controlling both.
I power mine with a dedicated external 10A UBEC at 8.4V, allowing the servo to deliver its full performance. The improvement in steering authority, speed, and holding power is immediately noticeable, even when the truck is under heavy acceleration or driving through deep sand.
Honestly, after this experience, Perfect Pass has become my go-to servo brand. I now install one in every new RC I buy before I even run it for the first time.
Highly recommended if you're looking for a genuine upgrade rather than just a higher torque number on paper.

Put it on my X Maxx, the X Max only can put out 6 V, was pretty good but not any better than the better TRAXXAS servos, install the BEC and adjusted the voltage to 8 V, all I can say is wow the servo is magnificent, anybody installing a BEC on an X MAXX be sure and connect the BEC Power to the negative side of the ECU main battery cables. Otherwise you will burn the ground wire if you use the other connector. Little bit of a learning curve on my part couldn’t find any information to this, but I finally figured it out and wow, the, the monster T is a fantastic servo.

I changed the gears in my Xmaxx's servo, then swapped in a 2085x, but both those upgrades were a waste of money. This Monster T servo from Perfect Pass is the only way to go. It's so much faster and more powerful than the Traxxas servos. I'm running it at 7.4v in a truck with spools front, back and center and it performs phenomenally well. If my son's Maxx ever needs a new servo I'm definitely installing one of these.

I was skeptical about the price, but this is definitely a quality product. The speed and power with which it moves is truly impressive and I love that I could just bolt it right in without having to modify anything. I’m excited to do some more testing with it, but my initial run was very impressive and. does not even compare to the stock servo on my Xmaxx. I definitely recommend it! This thing is amazing! This is the second Monster T that I've bought. The first one I had in an XRT and now this time I realized that I could fit this thing in my Maxx so I had to go ahead and try it. I don't really believe you can have servo overkill but if you can this is definitely that. No hesitation whatsoever. It moves the smaller scale Magmas and Sledgehammers on carpet as if they aren't even there. My endpoints are set to 105 in both directions. I couldn't be happier. It's the best my Maxx has ever steered by far. I have a Max 6 in it with the 4990 motor so its 1/6 scale electronics in a 1/10 scale truck... just the way my God intended it. Thank you Perfect Pass!

This thing is a beast now, was running the 56kg one and it was good but with this 80kg monster it’s unbelievable. And thanks for the car air freshener smells great!
