SMARTSENSE™ uses the motor’s sensors during startup to provide smooth launches, strong low speed torque, and consistent drivability. After the motor reaches speed, the system transitions to a high efficiency sensorless mode. Since load conditions change throughout a run, electronic timing automatically adjusts to support both performance and efficiency. Mechanical timing alone cannot adapt in this way.
