The tire is made from a proprietary blend of five specially made rubbers and elastomers. It took Perfect Pass RC 18 months to develop a tire that can take the extreme forces of a 200+ MPH run while keeping its shape, rigidity and unmatched traction. While 40-45 Shore gave slightly better traction, price was paid with reduced durability. However, while continuously testing the wheels we fell in love with the stable sensation and planted behavior a heavier rim than we have originally designed gave us.
